 Please schedule with as much time allowance as possible.  I can often say "yes" with only short notice.

As SOLO entertainer:
To book Al as a ONE-MAN-BAND, it's only $50/hr. (2hr. minimum), assuming your event is in the Portland/Vancouver vicinity.

So if you decide that Al (and no "friends") is all you'll need, then I'll happily perform against a versatile assortment of professionally produced backing-tracks for my Zendrum playing, delivering a rich, FULL- BAND sound for your event. The music styles and dynamics of 'delivery' are up to YOU. Can deliver everything from **mellow LATIN, to JAZZ, to FUNK, to R & B, to CLASSIC ROCK and more.

YOU pick the style, or I can just mix/match, per atmosphere at your event. If it's too soft, I'll crank it up, if it's too loud....well, you know. Catering to the vibe/feel of the crowd is my specialty. If they're up to it, I'll even pull out a wireless microphone for an occasional sing-(or blabber)-along, to many of my popular songs, played as instrumentals. So, if anyone is bold enough......then that's always a kick to observe for the other guests at your event.

Please note from wine-tasting video clip (below) that the guests are easily able to communicate without having to shout. I can play as quietly as that if needed, while still putting out plenty of entertainment-value.

Whatever your choice, we just LOVE to play!
